In the literary basis of this suite are the verses of Sasha the Black, taken from cycles of different years. Satire Sasha the Black, one of the most read poets of the beginning of the twentieth century, was directed against such human vices as cowardice, meanness, stupidity, immorality, philistinism, which, unfortunately, still exist in our time.
